AskMarc (ABN 66 154 735 398) is operated by Marc Larkin, a sole trader based in South West Rocks, NSW. This policy explains how personal information collected via this website is handled.

Information Collected

When you submit the enquiry form, we collect your name, phone number, and (optionally) your email address and a description of your technical problem. This information is used solely to contact you and provide the service you have requested.

How Information Is Used

Your details will only be used to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to manage the ongoing service relationship. Your information will never be sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties except as required by law.

Data Storage

Enquiry data is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary to fulfil the service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting marc.larkin@askmarc.com.au.

Service Terms

Service Scope

AskMarc provides personal IT assistance to residential clients in the Macleay Valley. Services include device setup, software guidance, cybersecurity advice, and general technology troubleshooting.

Billing & Payment

Phone support subscriptions are billed monthly at $25/month or annually at $275/year. In-home callouts are billed at the flat rates displayed on this page. Payment is due at the time of service or on the invoice date for subscription clients.

No-Fix, No-Fee Principle

AskMarc does not charge a fee surcharge if a problem cannot be diagnosed during a callout. You will only be charged for time spent and a fair assessment of effort — never for an unresolved outcome that was beyond reasonable scope.

Cancellation Policy

Monthly subscribers may cancel at any time with no penalty. Annual subscriptions may be cancelled within 14 days for a full refund. After 14 days, the remaining balance may be credited toward future services.

Liability

AskMarc takes all reasonable care when handling client devices and data. However, clients are encouraged to maintain their own data backups. AskMarc cannot be held liable for pre-existing data loss or hardware faults.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
